Alondra Garcia is a senior English communications major attending St. Mary’s University. Alondra works with The Rattler as layout and design editor. Additionally to their website, their work is also publish in Issuu. Garcia also interns at the Development office at St. Mary’s University working with video, graphic design production, interviews and coordination. Alondra has taken classes in graphic design, marketing, media writing and reporting, media production I & II. Alondra has also taken classes in the English department where she has two poetry publications in The Pecan Grove Review. Additionally, she has learned Photoshop, Indesign, Illustrator and Final Cut Pro. She has learned how to make ads, logos, stationaries, a 20 page magazine, newspapers, soundtrack and videos. Alondra also has experience working for Church of God 7th day-Pharr as a coordinator for special events and fundraisers. Alondra plans aspires to work in a media channel and for her organization, Church of God 7th day.
